The Parish Family of St. Catharine- St. Margaret is truly blessed to have two magnificent churches to celebrate mass with our parishioners and the many visitors that travel to Spring Lake. We receive many requests for marriages to take place in St. Catharine Church and St. Margaret Church. The Church as a whole sees marriage in one’s own parish as the most proper arrangement, therefore, people who reside in the boundaries of St. Catharine – St. Margaret Parish and are registered parishioners have a right to be married here. Couples who are not members of the parish should receive the sacrament in their own parishes.
The bride, the groom, or their parents must be registered and living in St. Catharine- St. Margaret Parish boundaries for at least one year prior to requesting a marriage packet which can be done by contacting the rectory. Those requesting a marriage packet should notify the rectory at least one year in advance of the date they are requesting.
