Candlelight Concert (Candlelight Ball)

Since the early 1960s the Parish Family of St. Catharine – St. Margaret has held the annual Candlelight Ball, the only major fundraiser within the Parish.  The money raised through raffle sales and from the Donor Club directly benefits the children in St. Catharine School and in the Parish Religious Education Program.
Without the gracious support of our Benefactors, the children within our Parish would not be able to receive the vital religious education that will benefit them throughout their lives.
The students, faculty and staff of both our school and religious education program, thank you so very much for your continued support.

This year we celebrate the 54th  Annual Candlelight Ball in a different way than before. In light of the recent lift of COVID-19 regulations the parish will celebrate this year with a Candlelight Concert outside at St. Catharine School with the Pat Roddy Band on Friday, July 9th from 6:00PM-9:00PM. The event is BYOB, all attendees must be 21 and over.

Tickets are priced per box, not per person. The purchase of a box must be done in a single transaction, no partial purchases. If a box is not filled, no partial refunds will be issued.  Boxes will be positioned with a 6ft distance in between front to back and 4ft in between left to right. Wristbands must be worn by all guests attending and can be picked up at the rectory beginning Monday, July 5th or at the event.  All persons in attendance must be 21 and over.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs, drinks and food. Please no umbrellas or canopies.

Please note your preferred box(es) when purchasing. Exact box selection is not guaranteed but tier selection  will be honored.

Donor Club- If you would like to sponsor the event please complete the sponsorship form HERE and return it to St. Catharine Rectory at 215 Essex Avenue Spring Lake, NJ 07762.

Wine Pull- Donations of bottles of wine with a minimum retail value of $25 may be dropped off at the Rectory at 215 Essex Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762.


This year’s raffle options are as follows and can be purchased after mass at both St. Catharine and St. Margaret Churches or through the rectory. Winners need not be present at time of drawing.

Super 50/50 ($50) 1st Prize- 25% of proceeds, 2nd Prize- 15% of Proceeds, 3rd Prize- 10% of Proceeds

Giants Tickets ($20) Prize includes 2 Season Tickets to the New York Giants along with parking passes.

Peloton Bike+ ($10) Includes Bike+ Family Package and VISA gift card to cover 1 year of subscription
